Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had a dingy and stale smell, but the staff was helpful with our baggage. The location was great for exploring the city, but there were ongoing works nearby. The dining experience was delightful with a variety of options, and the facilities were adequate.
From the moment I checked in with such a friendly reception to the beautifully renovated rooms, my stay was well supplied and very clean. However, being near the back of the hotel with trains running all night made it less pleasant and a bit cramped to open suitcases. Still, I booked for this weekend.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was nice and clean, very warm throughout my visit and offered a great view of the Calgary Tower. While the room was a bit small, it had recently been renovated with cozy beds and everything needed for a pleasant overnight stay.
The hotel has lovely seating areas and chandeliers in a great location. The rooms, though a bit outdated, were clean and comfortable. The service was out of this world amazing, but the hot tub noise was a disturbance. The dining experience was VERY VERY GOOD. The parkade next to the hotel was convenient, however, hard to fit more than a couple of people for a workout in the open areas.
My stay at the hotel was quite nice. The room was spacious and well-appointed, although the bathroom was a bit small with limited space for toiletries. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional, with friendly and accommodating staff always ready to assist. The location was fantastic, near downtown Calgary and within easy walking distance to various attractions and shopping areas. The dining experience offered a good selection of tasty options, and the facilities were enjoyable overall.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Calgary, making it an ideal position for exploring the city. The rooms were a bit too warm and had a strong cigarette smoke smell, causing discomfort. The service was excellent with friendly and professional staff. The dining experience was chaotic, indicating a lack of organization in handling busy mealtimes. The facilities were adequate but could be improved.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful! The deluxe room I stayed in as a President Club member was one of the nicest rooms I have ever seen at the Palliser hotel. The atmosphere was so relaxing, and the food was great. However, there were some minor issues that affected my experience.
I stayed in a king suite which was unbelievably beautiful and perfect, but the cigarette smoke caused me an immediate headache. The room was appointed in a superior fashion, clean, and stocked with good amenities, although the bathroom was tiny.
The junior suite I stayed in was well supplied and very clean, though being located near the back of the hotel meant enduring the noise of trains passing all night. The room felt a bit smaller than what I'm used to, but it served the purpose well for the price paid.
